So
where do all the celebrities hang out while visiting
Democratic Denver? One place that is top of everyone's list,
is football legend John Elway's steakhouse located in the new
Ritz Carlton. This happens to be one of Oprah's
favorite places to eat in Denver - as a result the restaurant
has been booked solid for the entire week.
The
Cruise Room in the Oxford Hotel is always a favorite hangout
of stars, as is Churchill's cigar bar in the historic Brown
Palace Hotel. George
Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio were spotted enjoying a social
evening with Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner, while J Lo,
Cicely Tyson, Rev. Al Sharpton and Martin Luther King III were
seen catching a ride together outside the hotel.
In
addition to the long list of Hollywood's A list, a continuous
string of top musicians poured into town as if on a week long
music festival. Sheryl Crow, Dave Mathews, John Legend and Stevie Wonder
came together to entertain the crowds on Thursday night, with
a heartfelt
rendition of the national anthem sung by "Dream
Girls" and "Sex & The City" Star Jennifer Hudson.
Among the list of celebs politically socializing were Spike
Lee, Charlize Theron, Ashley Judd, Angela Bassett, Annette
Bening, Chevy Chase, Steven Spielberg... and the list goes on.
LA must be going through a 'dry' spell as the who's who of
Hollywood gather together in the Mile High City in support of
this historical event.
