Chef Janine Falvo was named one of Restaurant Hospitality’s Rising Star Chefs in 2007 and was selected to represent Sonoma in a dinner at the James Beard House in New York City in 2010. Along with pastry chef Kelly Lovett, Falvo invited journeyPod on an impressive 7-course meal highlighting some of their best culinary masterpieces like a Halibut over Corn & Chanterelles with Tarragon & Corn Nage. If you’ve always wanted to try Sweetbread but never had the nerve, we recommend the Veal Sweetbread “Parmesan” over Pappardelle. Lovett sent us on a tongue-tingling journey (literally, the ice cream had hidden pop rocks in it) with an Old-fashioned Donut with Bacon Powder, Chocolate & Coffee Ice cream. These culinary divas make quite the powerful duo!
After dinner head on upstairs to Rooftop 866 to top off the night with an after dinner cordial or one of Lovett’s famous Boozy Pops (the jalapeño strawberry pop was delicious!)
