Consistently voted as one of the best Mexican restaurants in the city, this longtime favorite is your traditional Mexican abode - with thick wooden tables, open kitchen and colorful Mexican decor. Even though tacos are what this place does best, try the hot-griddled tortillas too. Oh, and besides the typical beer and soda you may order, La Taqueria has amazing “aguas frescas” (try fresh cantaloupe, mango or strawberry) and horchata (a creamy cinnamon-spiced rice drink).
