Want to see big names in the USA? Then check out these five celebrity hot-spots.

The Beverly Hills Hotel: The Beverly Hills Hotel in California certainly needs no introduction. One of the oldest celebrity hot spots in the country, its halls have been walked by the likes of Marilyn Monroe, John Lennon, and Elizabeth Taylor. Of course, today, The Beverly Hills Hotel still never fails to attract a slew of famous faces. Its Polo Lounge, especially, has been known to be the site of at least a few red carpet stars and starlets, including Lindsay Lohan, Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage, Paris Hilton, and John Mayer.

The Waldorf Astoria: If you’re looking to vacation on the east coast, you’re definitely going to want check out the Big Apple. And if you want to hang out with a few famous celebrities while you’re there – and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t? – then you’re going to want to stay at New York’s The Waldorf=Astoria. With its endless array of amenities and accommodations, including boutiques, restaurants, and pampering room service, it’s no wonder that celebrities like Winona Ryder, Richard Gere, Ewan McGregor, Kid Rock and Alicia Keys choose it as their residence of choice while in the area.

Delano South Beach: Of course, if you’d rather hit up a few beaches, there are plenty of places where you can catch a glimpse of celebrities and celebrity life. One of the best known among these is Delano South Beach in Miami, Florida. Set on the coast, the Delano seeks to combine luxurious hotel room and service with calming, serene beachfront. Mentionables include the FDR lounge, a nightlife spot created by the Light Group and the agua spa, a spacious and state-of-the-art rooftop spa. Sandra Bullock, Will Smith, and P. Diddy have all, at one time, resided at this trendy beachfront hotel.

Sundance Resort: Well, we’ve all heard of the Sundance Film Festival and if you’d guessed it, you’d be right – the Sundance Resort is exactly where all the big names stay right before the big show. Found near Provo, Utah, this famous ski resort has housed celebrities like Natalie Portman, Salma Hayek, Billy Bob Thornton, and Bill Paxton.  Of course, big names and big slopes aren’t the only things that the Sundance Resort has to offer. With biking services, theater, and fine dining, there’s no end of things to do at this mountain-based hot spot.

Amalfi Hotel Chicago: It’s no surprise that big cities like Chicago attract big names. And, of course, being the Windy City, quite a few celebrities blow on in from time to time. Cheesy jokes aside, Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis, Chad Michael Murray, and Paul Oakenfold have all been spotted in this big city with one of its most popular luxury destinations being the Amalfi Hotel. Located in Chicago’s River North District, the Amalfi provides quick access to shows in the Theater District, exclusive shopping spots at its North Bridge Mall, and an eclectic mix of dining options.

International

Not everyone likes to stay stateside. So, if you want to go abroad for your vacation and still want to have the chance to catch a glimpse of a few big names, don’t fret. There are plenty of great places to stay for those with international tastes.

Banyan Tree Cabo Marques – Acapulco, Mexico: The first hotel on this list is a fairly new one. Located in one of the biggest international celebrity hot-spots, Acapulco, the Banyan Tree was opened as recently as 2010. Still, it’s already attracted celebrity names like Brad Pitt, Ryan Reynolds, Scarlet Johansson, and even Prince Charles. The Morrison – Dublin, Ireland: Crafted by famous Irish designer John Rocha, the Morrison Hotel has seen a number of big celebrities since its opening a few years back. Most recently, Matthew McConaughey and Kylie Minogue have both been spotted at this Irish hot-spot, often considered to be one of the most breathtaking and stunning  of hotels in Europe. Encompassed by the best shopping districts Dublin has to offer, including a number of bars, museums, theaters, and even the o2 Arena, The Morrison is the place to stay for celebrity spotting and European luxury.

The Dorchester – London, England: No stranger to celebrity visits, the Dorchester houses some of the most beautiful and elegant hotel rooms in the world. The Oliver Messel Suite, in particular, has been known to attract a few famous tastes, with the late Michael Jackson having stayed there on a number of occasions and Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton having chosen it for their honeymoon back in 1964. No matter where you stay at in the Dorchester, though, you will be accommodated only with the best service and rooms London has to offer…and, of course, with the chance to see a few famous faces.

The Park Hyatt – Tokyo, Japan: If you’ve ever seen the movie Lost in Translation starring Bill Murray, Scarlet Johansson, and Giovanni Ribisi, then no doubt you’ve heard of The Park Hyatt in Tokyo. The Oscar-winning film takes place mainly in this hotel with its characters gallivanting up and down its halls while trapped in the city. And it’s no wonder!
